This is a Tutorial on how to use the Industrial Water Extractor in Empyrion Reforged Eden.

“Just some clarification:

The water sample is given if you cross either into or out of the biome called Lake. In your video you can see that you briefly entered the Shallow Water biome and that is what triggers it. Just going into the water doesn’t work.

You don’t need to put the water sample into your personal inventory (it’s too large to fit anyway if mass/volume are on) as long as it’s in the connected container you can use it to upgrade the extractor.

I know it’s a janky system but I had to literally write my own water extractor from scratch using the dialogue system because it was the only way to make a new water extractor in the game.”
