TFG1Mike’s TV Series Talk – Common Law

TFG1Mike’s TV Series Thoughts:

Common Law

I’ll be doing early impressions blogs like this in the future.

Common Law is USA Network’s latest new original series. I’d seen the ads leading up to the premiere on May 11, 2012, and was skeptical at first, but now I love this show. Even though there have only been two episodes aired at the time of this writing, USA has yet another hit show on their hands.

It stars Michael Ealy and Warren Kole as the two main characters Travis Marks and Wes Mitchell. These characters are essentially the old married couple who argue about EVERYTHING! Wes and Travis each have very different backgrounds. Wes is a former lawyer, and Travis has been through Foster Care throughout his childhood. Through all of their arguments they still get cases solved, and it’s because of their bickering that the cases will get solved.

Jack McGee plays the duo’s captain, and Sonya Walger plays Dr. Emma Ryan. I can say for sure that I’ll be watching this for as long as it is on the air. it seems to be a great comedy series. I mean in the first episode Travis shoots a Lamborghini Gallardo! So funny.

You can check out Common Law Fridays at 10pm eastern on USA
