Sadly, Funko Pops might be going out of business.

Yeah, I saw that news and it’s nuts. But it’s so oversaturated. Same token, I think Nacelle Toys won’t make it because they can’t seem to come out with the Trek figures from their license.
Please Do not believe the clickbait.
Go with people who are in the know:

Yes Funko has had issues with firing the one CEO…. but with Josh Simon there now… I think he can turn things around.
It’s not clickbait, they’re oversaturating everything, and they said they’re not sure they’ll last. That’s a fact, not clickbait. Doesn’t say they’re closing; it’s them speculating they will eventually have to close. They’re losing money hand over fist on multiple reputable sources and have been quoted the same thing. Believing this guy isn’t much different from people who don’t tune into us. Dexerto is also a reputable source.
No, Funko is not closing, but the company recently admitted there is “substantial doubt” about its ability to continue operating due to financial struggles. This was revealed in its Q3 2025 financial report, which showed a significant drop in sales and a $1 million loss, compared to a profit in the same period last year. The company is exploring strategic options like a potential sale and has a new CEO working on a turnaround plan.
Financial performance: Funko’s sales dropped by over 14% in the third quarter of 2025, resulting in a $1 million loss.
Reasoning: The company blames a challenging retail environment, high tariffs, and a decline in demand for its products.
Contemplated actions: Funko is considering several strategic moves, including the possibility of selling the company, and is seeking new financing.
Leadership and strategy: A new CEO, Josh Simon, took over in September 2025 and is developing a turnaround plan to streamline product lines and expand into new fandoms.
So while I agree with some, they’re not doing well, and their product lines are all over the place and shelf-warming everywhere I go. They’re the modern equivalent of Furby or Trolls, but have fizzled out to the public.
