Glasgow 2024, this year’s WorldCon, will be held in August 2024 in Glasgow, Scotland where the winners of this year’s Hugo Awards will be announced. In this episode of MarkWHO42’s Universe, we discuss the finalists in several categories and their parameters. We travel from novels to novellas and novelettes within the written word categories. There are some familiar faces intermingled with the new ones. The storylines range from Science Fiction to Fantasy and somewhere in between. We also deliberate the finalists for Best Dramatic Presentation, Long Form – 6 movies who could each fill a show on their own. Our last topic is Best Dramatic Presentation, Short Form comprising 6 episodes from 4 television shows including this podcast’s inspiration, Doctor Who.
