TFG1MIKE 365 – 2024 Day 25
^^Yes That’s My Brain, it’s not a nice place to be!
It’s Brain Surgery Too!
Hello all and welcome to a NEW Daily Blog series from me… TFG1Mike! The idea here is for me to write something, anything, once a day for 365 days. From January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024. Day 25 well I haven’t kept up at all so far this year with the writing. I think because of being so burnt out at the end of last year is why I’m slacking this year! So in my 25th entry for 2024 I’ll be talking about BRAIN SURGERY II!!!
So since Day 121 and 208 of 2019… I’d been fine, I even wrote up Day 128 of 2022 as it had been 3 years since Brain Surgery! The headaches were gone after the brain drain. But November of 2023 they returned, and here we are!
Soooo from the MRI:
INTERPRETATION: “MR imaging demonstrates significant ventriculomegaly predominantly involving the body and atria of the lateral ventricles greater on the left side. Findings appear related to combination of chronic hydrocephalus with underlying extensive parenchymal volume loss along the left frontal and parietal lobes and to a lesser degree the right parietal lobe.
Although nonspecific, findings may be related to history of cerebral palsy with remote possible in utero ischemic insult and dysplastic parenchymal development.”
So I’m waiting for a call from scheduling, to schedule an appointment to “TALK” about having a shunt put in. THAT is what STRESSES me out the MOST…. THE WAITING ….. ARRRGGHHHHH!!!!
From Wikipedia:
“A cerebral shunt is a device permanently implanted inside the head and body to drain excess fluid away from the brain. They are commonly used to treat hydrocephalus, the swelling of the brain due to excess buildup of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF).” So yeah….. I’m thankful for my Dad, the rest of my family, and all the friends I have for always being there. I just was not expecting to have 2 brain surgeries in my lifetime!
Join me tomorrow January 26, 2024 as I’ll be writing about something hopefully something positive, geeky, and cool!
