TFG1MIKE 365 – 2024 Day 140 – Flipping The Friendship Coin!

Hello all and welcome to my continuing Daily Blog series from me TFG1Mike. This is TFG1MIKE 365!! And it The idea here is for me to write something, anything, once a day for 365 days. From January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024. It’s Day 140 and today features a discussion on flipping the friendship coin! I first wrote this in a Discord server, as a reply to others who were writing about friendship. So here I am Flipping The Friendship Coin!

The friends that come in and out of our lives, are kind of like album covers. They are snapshots Frozen in time… They are meant to signify a certain point in our lives. A point that we can look back on fondly, And say to ourselves those were the days!

Then there are those friends that come into our lives and the next thing you know its 10 or 20 or 30 years Later, and you can just call them up at 3:00 in the morning and say hey I need you, and they’ll be there no matter what. Those are the best friends we have in our lives, the ones that maybe tell us something horrible happened to them, and our first reaction is okay, Who do I have to kill first…

Obviously not going to kill anyone, but the sentiment is You’re my best friend and you’re hurt. Who do I have to rage on because they hurt you. And it’s not just “best friends”, but generally that’s who I have that reaction saved for. 

Each side of the friendship coin, whether it’s those that stop in here and there throughout our lives or those that have been with us all along… It’s just one flip of the coin. And no matter which side of the coin lands, you win because you’ve got a friend on both sides.
