Hello all and welcome to the continuing Daily Blog series from me TFG1Mike. This is TFG1MIKE 365!! And it The idea here is for me to write something, anything, once a day for 365 days. From January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024. It’s Day 103 features NICKELBACK!!! Since about 2011 here on The GeekCast Radio Network, I’ve either been writing or podcasting about one of my favorite bands! Since 1998 when I heard Nickelback’s album The State, I’ve been a huge fan of the band. Here are all the NICKELBACK posts I’ve made since 2011! So in my 103rd entry for 2024 I’ll be talking about the NEW Nickelback documentary, Hate To Love: Nickelback!!!

I don’t even remember how long I’ve been waiting for this documentary. I just know as a fan of Nickelback, I was ready for this. I couldn’t wait to watch this. Hearing the band’s backstories just makes me love these guys more. I’ve always said with films, cartoons, video games, music, anything in media that I consume… It’s about the product, not about the personal lives of those giving us whatever it is. This is more so true in Movies, TV, Animation etc., because they are “ACTING”! However I do love when musicians open up to their fans and tell their story. Nickelback were a buncha Village Idiots in 1995, but they quickly did a name change, and debuted in 1996 with the Hesher EP. As of this writing, we are two years away from that 30th anniversary date.

Hearing each of the band member’s stories is awesome, from how Mike and Chad didn’t have the same Dad, to Ryan Peake’s wife claiming the hit that would become “How You Remind Me”, to the departure of Ryan Vikedal, and the arrival of Daniel Adair, everything is awesome in HATE TO LOVE: NICKELBACK!
