Transformers: Prime
Season 1 Soundtrack
This review brought to you by: Lakeshore Records & Blogomatic3000!!!
So I got an email from Phil over at B3K our UK Affiliate. Here’s what the email said:
“Wondered if you be interested in something we’ve just been sent for review? I was hoping you or one of the team would be up for reviewing the soundtrack to Transformers Prime? We’ve just been sent a download link for it, and seeing as you’re the TF experts I thought it would be right up your street!”
I nearly fainted from excitement! Ever since the news that this was being released, I’ve ben dying for it! I’ve heard Brian Tyler’s music in the past, on such films as Fast Five, The Expendables, Paparazzi, and games like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Transformers Prime earned Tyler the Emmy Award™ for Outstanding Achievement in Music Direction and Composition in 2011.
Brian Tyler has put together 25 amazing tracks, and the sound in each one is superbly mastered. There are high anthematic themes, and slow subtle ones as well. I love just listening to a score from a movie, cartoon, or television series sometimes. Each track captures the sound and feel of the scene that they are from in the cartoon. Track 16 Airachnid captures the horror aspect of that episode through sound. I can’t say enough good things about this soundtrack!!!!!
Here is the tracklisting:
01. Transformers Prime
02. Optimus Prime Returns
03. One Shall Rise
04. Dreadwing
05. In Defense of Humanity
06. We Have Returned
07. Relentless Pursuit
08. This is Your Home Now
09. Autobot Stratagum
10. Battle in the Energon Mine
11. Proximity Sensors

When I originally saw the listing for this on Amazon I thought ahh a 12-16 track CD, but NO TWENTY FIVE Tracks! I’m sorry, but I can’t stress that enough! Brian Tyler has outdone himself yet again, and I can’t wait to see what he does in Season 2 of Transformers Prime!
Transformers Prime hits Amazon in digital download form on March 6th, and March 13th for the CD. iTunes will have it as well on March 6th 2012
TRANSFORM AND ROLL OUT!!!!
