TFG1MIKE 365 – 2024 Day 239 – In The Hospital – Brain Adventures IV!

Hello all you people out there in the land of the internet! It is I, TFG1Mike… You Are Now reading TFG1MIKE 365! The idea here is for me to write something, anything, once a day for 365 days. From January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024. In my 239th entry of 2024, it’s August 26, 2024, and I’m gonna be writing about the latest in my Brain Pain Journey of 2024!!!

So Sunday night the 25th of August going into Monday morning, the 26th of August…. It was BAD! I fell asleep with my brain pressing against my skull. I woke up in the same way. In the 5 years I’ve been dealing with this non stop, when I say my headaches are DIFFERENT! They are. Normal tension headaches, even migraines… they can be relieved, and they go away. The headaches I get, dibilitate me for hours on end. And the funny thing is AFTER I had the brain drain done in 2019… The doctors said that I should be good to go… And I was until Summer – July 2023. I dunno why it’s back in full force, like it was before the brain drain… but it is. Anyways I had a tele health appointment that morning, and they told me to just go to the hospital. So I did.

They gave me a “migraine” cocktail…. I asked what was in it, but I forget what they told me at this moment. It relieved the pain for about 7 hours… I got home from the hospital around 3pm…. and by 10pm I had another headache. I have a headache app that I’ve used since 2019, and every time one starts I add an entry into the app. I also (obviously) mark when it stops. It’s been one helluva journey, with no real permanate solution in sight.
