PINEAPPLE ON PIZZA IS EVIL!

Hello all and welcome to a NEW Daily Blog series from me… TFG1Mike! The idea here is for me to write something, anything, once a day for 365 days. From January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2019. In my 24th entry, I’ll be talking about whether you SHOULD or SHOULDN’T put pineapple on pizza. HINT: you never should ever do this!

My lovely wife Karen normally tells me, “Try NEW Things.” Well my taste buds know what they like and what they don’t. We have been married a little more than a year, and I have tried a lot of food items, and other experiences in that time. HOWEVER pineapple on pizza will NEVER be one of them. I did try it when I was a kid, but honestly I never liked pineapples in the first place, so why in the hell would I put them on a pizza?? I honestly do not understand the fascination with this fruit as a topping on a pizza!?! A plain pizza is bread, sauce, and cheese! It is served piping hot, I’ve only ever seen pineapple chunks as a cold fruit item. I have never heard of hot pineapple anything. So adding it to all the ingredients I just mentioned, that sounds like something I’d be throwing up immediately. It doesn’t sound like it would be a tasty meal at all.

You might be wondering, and asking yourself, “Mike how can you have such a negative opinion on this? Well I HAVE tried pineapple on pizza in the past. It was about 25 years ago at this point, and I didn’t like it then. So I doubt that my taste buds have changed THAT much, in that amount of time.

I’m a Kevin McCallister kinda kid, CHEESE PIZZA is my favorite, I don’t need any additional toppings. However in my nearly 39 years on this Earth… I have tried other toppings on pizza, and most I like, but there are just some that seem so very wrong. Pineapple is definitely one of those!
